Summary
The Problem: The National Alliance for Mental Illness Orange County website provides a difficult to navigate site with a clashing color scheme and an unclear user flow. Users struggle to use the nav bar and find the information they are searching for, ultimately leaving them frustrated and leaving the site.
Current NAMI OC Website

Our Solution: Conduct user research to find the most pressing flaws and complete a re-desgin of the site. We hope the new design will help the organization bring awareness to mental illness and increase the umber of donations, as well as the amount of volunteers.

Many people said they would be happy to donate their time or maney but could not find where or how and would eventually give up.

Survey Data:
72.7% have freinds or family with a mental illness
66.7% would donate their time volunteering

Interview data:
Users felt frustrated and confused when attempting to complete the tasks given to them due to the website's unclear direction
Very few users could complete the tasks before giving up and asking for help
